It will be at my house at 10AM. We will be planting either flowers or herbs and either painting the planting pot or making fun bug labels. Haven't decided on either yet. I know, it's coming up fast, but I'll have everything here for you. I'm really excited about this activity and hope to see you!

Cancellation
Ok, the activity for tomorrow (Saturday, March 27) has been cancelled. Just when you think it's over, another sickness hits the family. So, due to one of us being sick, the activity is cancelled. So sorry and the next one will be in two weeks since General Conference and Easter is this next weekend.
Enjoy the time with your families!

Appreciation To Our Service Men And Woman Activity
We had a really great time with this activity. We each had treats to put on plates and made cards for the men and women who serve as Police Officers and Fire Fighters.
Once we got it all put together, we took the treats and card to each department.
First, we went to our Unified Fire Department and we were even given a tour of the station. Learned some pretty neat stuff like, they each take shifts of 48 hours and they stay at the station. There are individual rooms for each person. The average amount of calls they receive are 10 calls within 48 hours. They also respond to hazardous material situations and has a truck specifically for that.
Our next stop was the Sheriff Station. Since no one answered, we thought we would try the Taylorsville City Police Department. Unfortunately, the stations are closed to the public on Saturdays, so a dispatcher was kind enough to send an officer out to us. He was grateful for the the treats and the card and would share them with the rest of the officers he works with. And as you can see, it was snowing, but we had so much fun!
Thanks to ALL of the men and women who serve to protect us from harm, weather it be from other people, fires, floods, earthquakes and more! We are extremely grateful to you all!!!

Activity Day Reminder for March 13!
Good morning!
Now that both Keira and I are feeling much better, we are going to have activity days this coming Saturday, March 13, at my house at 10:00 am. Please bring along 2 dozen (24) treats. We will be making a card for the firefighters and police officers of our area and give them the treats as a thank you for all that they do for our community. After we finish the card and put the treats together, we will take them to the fire and police stations. Because we will be traveling, I will need everyone to fill out a permission form and bring it with you.
So, remember to bring:
1) 2 dozen (24) treats
and
2) permission form (click here)
Also, if anyone's parent or guardian is able to drive, that would be greatly appreciated. I have room for 7 girls, so if more than 7 come...I'll need some help. Thanks a bunch!!!

Ice Skating Activity
Thanks to all who was able to come! We had such so much fun, the time just disappeared. We could've skated for several more hours! Kudos to Ashley and Bethanie for doing such a great job on their first time ice skating!!! Hailee had some issues with her laces being too loose, but once they were tighten...she was a pro. Thanks to Tabitha and Tesla for trying to help the inexperienced girls and thanks to Maizy for passing the word about our activity! I had such a great time with all of you!!!

It's a New Year
And another year has begun!
We had our first activity of the year today. We got together to brainstorm for some good ideas for activities for this year. There were several activities chosen and ready to go for the next four months. I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog to help spread the news about upcoming activities, post photos and comments about past activities and other fun information.
For our next activity, which will be on January 23rd, we will be going to the Olympic Oval for some ice skating. I will post more information about the time and cost of the activity along with the permission form.
Thanks to those of you who came today and voiced your ideas. For those of you who couldn't make it, you can still put in your thoughts about what activities you'd like to do. For all of you, when ever you think of something you'd like to do, let us know and we'll add it to the list. :)
I hope this year will be a great and fun year for all of you!
Keep smiling!
